The Atlas® Winch Snatch Block is designed for use with 10,000 lb. to 13,000 lb. recovery winches. The Atlas® snatch block is designed to increase the pulling capacity of your winch. The snatch block can be used to change the pulling direction of the winch wire rope without damage to the wire rope. When used correctly, the Atlas® snatch block will help to lower the amp draw of your winch motor because the motor is doing “less work”. When the motor draws lower amps it also operates at a lower temperature which helps to extend the life of the motor. When you use the correct winch accessories, your winch can do “more work” with less effort.
